TBD’s Andrew Beaujon Headed to Poynter

TBD arts editor Andrew Beaujon is headed to Poynter to be their new media critic, according to their last media critic, Jim Romenesko.
Beaujon’s been the captain of the TBD dead-enders remaining in Rosslyn since “the incident” in February 2011. Before Erik Wemple seduced him over to TBD, Beaujon was the managing editor at City Paper. He also has a past in 90’s indie rock (search for a band called Eggs on Spotify for more).
It’s worth noting that Beaujon adds to the lengthy list of former City Paper staffers now employed elsewhere as media critics: David Carr at the Times, Erik Wemple at the Post, Jack Shafer at Reuters.
