Examiner Redesign: Looking Good
The Examiner redesign is getting better. Launched at the beginning of the month, it now has the local columnists available after just a little scrolling on the front page (pictured above). In the website’s last iteration, it was a lot more difficult to find Harry Jaffe and Jonetta Rose Barras (whether that’s a bad thing is up for debate, I guess).
Even better, the website is now correctly categorizing DC news, and only DC news, in its DC local section. That’s a big accomplishment, given how most newspaper websites, including the Post’s, have trouble with separating out the different parts of the DMV.
And hey, politics reporter Liz Farmer is even dabbling in a little aggregation.
