Living Social Shuts Down DC Blog “Social Studies DC”
It’s the end of viral coupon blogging as we know it. City Paper has the story that coupon company LivingSocial is closing Social Studies DC, their DC-centric blog that you may remember from the Shit People in DC Say (“Let me do a DC Brau.”).
In case, like me, you’re only remembering this blog now that it’s shutting down, let’s take a look at what they were doing. The news selection was a lonely bunch of morning round-ups, but these cartoons about DC history are ok.
